The main purpose of this position:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Stock Control Manager to oversee packing areas and manage our client’s warehouse efficiently
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent organisational abilities, and a thorough understanding of stock control processes
This role requires someone who can effectively manage a team, optimise warehouse operations, and ensure accurate inventory management
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervision – Provide effective leadership and supervision to packing area staff and warehouse personnel
- Inventory Management – Ensure accurate and timely recording of all stock movements, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Quality Control – Implement and enforce quality control measures to maintain the highest standards of product handling and packing
- Operational Efficiency – Optimise warehouse layout, workflows, and processes to maximise efficiency and productivity
- Safety Compliance – Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards to create a safe working environment for all employees
- Reporting – Generate regular reports on stock levels, warehouse performance, and any issues or discrepancies encountered
- Communication – Coordinate with other departments, such as logistics and procurement, to ensure smooth operations and effective communication across the organisation
- Problem Solving – Address any issues or challenges that arise promptly and effectively, implementing solutions to prevent recurrence
- Inventory Reconciliation – Conduct regular stock checks and reconciliation to identify and resolve any discrepancies
