- Tertiary or Relevant Qualification (Beneficial)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- 0 – 2 years’ experience in Sales
- Good attention to detail
The main purpose of this position:
To assist customers with quotes and stock availability and general enquiries
Duties & Responsibilities:
Customer enquiries:
- Front Line Reception, direct calls, visitors and drivers as required
- Receive small courier packages and direct as required
- Assist walk in Cash clients
- Telephonic and Email pricing, brochures, stock availability and referrals
- Respond to Website inquiries as received
- Liaise with Suppliers regarding brochures, specs, pricing etc.
- Daily Cash Sales
Orders:
- Generate Sales order for Cash Clients or accounts customers who want stock held
- Account Clients orders processed by invoicing department
- Check stock and pricing
- Confirm receipt of order, advise out of stock items, ETA on backorder items
- Work out courier cost
- Inform Customer when stock is ready for collection or dispatched with our courier
- Liaise with Freight broker for Quotes on Courier and Tracking of orders
- Book Delivery Slots if required
Customer Database:
- Maintain Customer Contact Lists on Excel and Mailchimp
- Send out Promotions, New Items and General Information via Mailchimp
Filing:
- Receive all PODS & File
- Archive Periodically
Maintain electronic brochure:
- As per internal procedures
Adhoc Duties:
- Handle and log Customer Complaints
- Assist with outgoing orders being checked and signed
- Monthly Company Stock Take, by counting stock sheets allocated by the Warehouse Manager and recounts on day 2
- Receive & Record cancelled or incorrect stock for credit
