Requirements:

• A 3-year Degree in Human Resources Management or an equivalent NQF level 7 qualification
• Minimum 3 – 5 years Human Resources Generalist experience, operating as a
  transformation or change agent
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• SAP and Kronos time and attendance experience will be an advantage

The main purpose of this position:

The Human Resources Officer will be responsible for the provision of support to the
Head Office team in the execution of human resources related activities. The
incumbent will further be required to participate as a credible business partner by
developing human resources solutions that add value to the business units’ core
strategic focus areas.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Recruitment and selection for all positions at Head Office
• To plan, prepare and facilitate monthly onboarding and Induction
• Collation and submission of payroll input
• Effective Record keeping
• Active involvement in all HR Strategic Projects
• Ensure proper termination processes are followed / to facilitate exit paperwork and exit interviews
• Co-ordinate Employment Equity and Skills Development Forums
• Monthly HR Reporting, including but not limited to input into annual
• Employment Equity, WSP, and ATR reports
• Facilitate and promote employee engagement and feedback
• Administration of all employee benefits and wellness programmes / CSI
  initiatives
• Maintenance of HR Policies and Procedures
• Proactively advise and educate Group Managers and employees on IR matters
• Ensure achievement of transformation goals as set out by the Consultative
  Forum Committee
• Responsible for the monthly editing of Head office employee timecards / as well as the updating of leave applications on the Kronos time and attendance system
• Other general HR duties as and when required
